Supplemental Curricula and Learning Exercises (SCALE)

Supplemental Curricula and Learning Exercises is a program which focuses on non-interactive education, whether via digital or physical methods, or via unattended interactive or passive learning. The primary programming will be any learning which allows a person to learn at their own pace without a dependency on any outside individual for immediate information delivery.
Elements of the SCALE program which are being investigated include:
- Furry self-help resources, either those composed in the fandom or recommended from the mainstream
- Turn-key writing track resources designed to enable conventions to start a writing track at a convention from nothing or to augment an existing writing track.
- Audio/Video materials, such as recorded lectures, special topics snippets, or video enrichment programs
- Reading, writing, and analytics exercises designed to be self-paced
The SCALE program is still in the preliminary planning stages. We hope to have a progress report by 2021 regarding the program status and continued progress over time.
